European Conference on Information Literacy

Presentations and Talks / Sunday, November 15th, 2015

In October 2015, I traveled to Tallinn, Estonia to attend in the European Conference on Information Literacy (ECIL). I participated in the doctoral forum, presenting the preliminary results of my dissertation work (International students and academic integrity: Global perspectives on a complex issue). Meggan Houlihan, First-Year Experience and Instruction Librarian at NYU Abu Dhabi, and I gave a talk on a survey we conducted of information literacy programs at American-style academic libraries (Information literacy abroad: A global snapshot of American-style academic libraries). Our findings will be published in a 2016 ACRL collection, The future of American libraries abroad: Creating vision and strategy for building international campus libraries.
